Roundtable Discussion: Building capacity in Service Design

Responding to the need expressed by SDM community to build greater capacity in service design, SDM partnered with RMIT to host an informal roundtable discussion with approx. 30 people from various businesses and agencies including Make, NAB, AusPost, ANZ, Meld, Thick, Sensis, Telstra and Paper Giant. This meeting took place at RMIT’s newly opened Experience Design Centre. We discussed what skills are needed and in demand for Service Design and explored opportunities for collaboration such as internship pathways, summer school programs and accredited short courses. We will keep you updated on what comes out of this ongoing discussion where there will be opportunities for input and further participation.
