Third Thursday #15 2018: Inclusive and universal design

For this month’s Third Thursday service design event, Nous invites you to their offices to discuss how we make design truly inclusive and how our unconscious attitudes towards disability can be the real disabler.

Inclusive Design: How do we make design truly inclusive?

Have you ever be unsure about how to approach someone with a visual impairment? Have you been asked to design a service for a double amputee? Whatever your experience of disability, ensuring design is universal and truly enables everyone to access it is a challenge we must all face.

This night is designed to be a safe place to talk openly about disability and how we talk and act around a subject that can be tricky to understand and navigate. You’ll hear from a mix of designers and those living with disabilities to provoke conversation and discussion.
